Discovery Science Center & Planetarium
For over 65 years the SHU Discovery Science Center and Planetarium (DSCP) has advocated for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) literacy in Connecticut. DSCP’s focus on informal learning provides a pathway for all learners to become empowered, informed decision makers in a technology-driven world.
On Sacred Heart University Giving Day, you can help make these pathways to learning even more accessible to all:
• $200 provides a free bus for a class field trip for a whole grade of underserved students
• $500 provides one student a full week of summer learning, extended childcare, and free lunch
• $2,500 helps to keep the Challenger Learning Center up-to-date with the latest in educational technology
