For over 65 years the SHU Discovery Science Center and Planetarium (DSCP) has advocated for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) literacy in Connecticut. DSCP’s focus on informal learning provides a pathway for all learners to become empowered, informed decision makers in a technology-driven world.

On Sacred Heart University Giving Day, you can help keep STEAM learning in Connecticut on the cutting edge with your support:

• $500 provides one student a full week of summer learning with extended childcare
• $2,500 helps to keep the Challenger Learning Center up-to-date with the latest in educational technology
• $5,000 provides a new planetarium show license to bring fresh, state-of-the-art content to our world-class dome
