College of Arts & Sciences

The primary goal of our undergraduate program is to transform students through a vibrant and engaging liberal arts education grounded firmly in the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. The College of Arts & Sciences is the source of the career-focused liberal arts foundation that drives academics at SHU. In addition to over 50 majors and programs, the College of Arts & Sciences houses the School of Communication, Media & the Arts and the School of Social Work. A gift to the College of Arts & Sciences supports the formation of the whole person in mind, body, and spirit and prepares students for success in the workforce and for living meaningful and satisfying lives.
